SPAR Winter Field Day
SPAR Winter Field Day was held at Vince, K4AOC's QTH. The event ran from 12:00 ( 1700Z) on Saturday, 30 January 2010 until 08:00 (1300Z) on Sunday, 31 January 2010.

A total of 20 folks attended on either one or both days and 14 folks actually spent time operating on HF. This includes:
Jessica, KJ4RRK (Landy's XYL)
Wyan, KJ4RRJ (Landy's daughter) I heard Wyan saying something about "General" ----- (time for that tower and radio room, Landy)
Wyan and Jessica are very recently licensed new Techs.
Stephanie, NO LICENSE YET (Darrell's daughter) Stephanie is studying hard for Tech.
Min, KJ4HFX was our other lady operator and this was her second Winter Field Day. Min also did a good job with "CQ" and making contacts.
All of these ladies did a wonderful job, made contacts, called "CQ" and seemed to have a great time.
Loretta, Vince's XYL, provided,Chili, Spinach/Artichoke dip, cheese and cracker plates, coffee and fixin's and much moral support. Wyan provided great cornbread to go with the chili as well as a great cherry dessert. WONDERFUL JOB, LADIES. I KNOW YOUR EFFORTS WERE APPRECIATED BY ALL WHO ATTENDED!!!!!
Everybody who showed up seemed to have a good time and we managed to stay at least warmer that the outside temperature.
TRUTH BE KNOWN ----- We had more operators here than we manage to get to volunteer to operate for our regular Field Day!!
